- The Point Pool is a new office pool so unique and different it has patent pending status.
- It is a season-long game of strategy and luck. No money is wagered although some pools have a one-time entry fee. MyPointPool.com is NOT a gambling web site.
- It is far more engaging and compelling than pick ’em or suicide pools.
- It is far less time consuming and intensive than fantasy leagues.
- The focus is entirely on the games and which team wins those games.
- It appeals to both hard-core fanatics and casual fans that simply enjoy watching games in which they have a rooting interest – and they’ll be rooting for teams they NEVER thought they would be rooting for.
- Each player has a direct rooting interest in two randomly assigned games per week.
- Games are assigned using our innovative scheduling system – a rules-based system that guarantees both random results and that you will be assigned every NFL team at least once.
- Each player has an indirect rooting interest in all the other games – especially when an upset is in progress (the bigger the upset, the greater the rooting interest).
- The Point Pool is a season-long competition that only ends AFTER the Big Game.
- It gets even MORE exciting and compelling during the playoffs.
- Anyone can join one of our public pools. Some are free and some have entry fees but they ALL have prizes at year-end.
- All of our pools are run through our affiliated blog network – GridironBlogs.com. That allows the players to communicate and interact with the other players in the pool.
- You can register on the MyPointPool.com web site or any of the GridironBlogs.com blogs and you will be registered on ALL of those sites and you can join pools – or just participate to whatever extent you wish – on any of them.
- You can become a pool administrator yourself and host a pool for your own friends. We charge $5 per person while you collect and distribute as prizes any entry fees you want to charge. We have certain guidelines you must adhere to as administrator and help you with any questions.
- We do not share registration information with any third parties. We do not sell registration information to any third parties. We do not send mass emails or spam of any kind.
- Our goal is to provide our users with a terrific pool, one that is perfect for social networking and community events. Our goal is to earn your trust.
